Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas (JCDA) is a Catholic service based outreach ministry program for youth girls (6-18) that allows girls to develop themselves as Catholics, learn to work for the good of others, and to grow spiritually.
These goals are accomplished through fun activities that include spiritual, educational, and character training projects held during monthly meetings or at JCDA special events (i.g., retreats, special liturgies, service projects).
The Junior Catholic Daughters of the Americas, membership is divided into two categories: Juniorette is age 6 through 11 and Junior is age 12 through 18.
The Blessed Mother Mary is the Patroness of the organization.
The Junior Catholic Daughters Organization’s purpose is to help the girls to enrich their lives through service to others in their church, community, and world. JCDA members have four basic goals operating under the motto of Message, Service and Community:
1. Develop ones character as a Christian
2. Learn to work for the good of others
3. Grow Spiritually
4. Be creative and flexible
Our next Meeting will be on Sunday, August 28 at 1:30pm in the Parish Hall - all girls 6-18 are welcome to come to the meeting and learn more about the JCDA.
