“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” As the Rabbi Hillel says, "All the rest is commentary. Now go study the commentary."
In response to the most discussed aspect of our RCIA program, we are offering an in-depth look at Catholic moral teaching. Using the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults as our basic text, this class will help participants understand the basis for Catholic teachings, with particular emphasis on where Catholic beliefs are challenged by our modern secular culture. We will go through the Ten Commandments with a modern application, with homework and meditations to do between each class.
