Parishioners who wish to have their children baptized at St. Martin de Porres must attend the baptism preparation class, held every other month on the third Wednesday.

Children of non-parishioners may be baptized here, provided that there is a family connection with a registered parishioner of St. Martin de Porres.   Non-parishioners must bring a letter from their pastor, giving permission for our Pastor or one of the Deacons to baptize the child.  Parents must also show proof that they have attended a baptismal class either at their parish or at St. Martin de Porres.   At least one godparent/sponser must be a fully-initiated practicing Catholic.

The Sacrament of Baptism (for infants and children under the age of seven years old) may be celebrated on the last weekend of the month during Masses at 5:00 pm – Saturday, 8:15 – 11:00 – Sunday, , as well as during the Masses on the Solemnities of The Baptism of the Lord, Easter Sunday, Pentecost Sunday, and Christ the King.
